William Walker: Walls of Truth

Bill Walker (1927-2011) was perhaps best known for his role in creating the Wall of Respect in 1967. This collaborative outdoor mural sparked a new era of community murals in Chicago, and in the United States more broadly. Over the decades of his work, Walker spoke to the hope of humankind and critiqued the ills that he saw around him. This exhibit is in process and will be on display at a date TBD.
